Our Story
ExposeMKE launched in 2020 as a small, independent project — a way to collect the breweries, restaurants, parks, and events that make Milwaukee worth exploring, without the fluff of a typical tourism brochure. Along the way, the site went quiet for a while. We're bringing it back now with a refreshed look and the same original idea: real recommendations from people who actually spend time in this city.
How We Pick
Every guide on this site is a curated top 5, not an exhaustive directory. We'd rather send you to five places worth your time than fifty places that pad out a list. Picks are pulled together from local coverage, official venue information, and firsthand knowledge of the city, then kept current as things change — Milwaukee's restaurant and brewery scene moves fast, and we'd rather update a guide than let it go stale.
